We understand that when you make an order you want your items as quickly as possible and will do our best to make that happen!  Most of the items we sell will ship quickly and will be at your door fast.  Always feel free to drop us a line if you have a concern.

Most orders placed before 3:00PM your local time will be processed same day.

Our products cannot delivered to a PO Box

Typically orders will be shipped UPS, however Filter Geek reserves the right to use an equivalent shipping method via FedEx, if this is a problem please contact us prior to placing your order. 

Delivery Policy

Packages will be left at your door and do not require a signature. Contact customer service before placing your order to make an exception.


FilterGeek does not take typically take backorders, however items in which a backorder or pre-order is available will be clearly identified.  

Damaged Goods

If an item arrives visibly damaged please contact Filter Geek Customer Service immediately. Claims are handled through the carrier (typically UPS or FedEx) but Filter Geek will assist the customer with these claims to the best of its ability. 

A shipping confirmation email (with tracking numbers) will be sent out typically 24 hours after an item has shipped.  For example if you place an order Monday night, and it ships out Tuesday morning, you will receive your tracking information on Wednesday morning.

Privacy & Security

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the consumer's domain name, but not the e-mail address (where possible).

We collect only the domain name, but not the e-mail address of visitors to our Web page, the domain name and e-mail address (where possible) of visitors to our Web page, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, user-specific information on what pages consumers access or visit, information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations, name and address, telephone number.

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor, used to notify consumers about updates to our Web site and .

With respect to cookies: We use cookies to store visitors preferences, record session information, such as items that consumers add to their shopping cart, record user-specific information on what pages users access or visit, ensure that visitors are not repeatedly sent the same banner ads, customize Web page content based on visitors' browser type or other information that the visitor sends.

Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders they have placed on-line.  We will not share this phone number with any other organization unless permission is explicitly granted.

With respect to Ad Servers: We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.

Upon request we may provide site visitors with access to all information [including proprietary information] that we maintain about them, unique identifier information (e.g., customer number or password) that we maintain about them, transaction information (e.g., dates on which customers made purchases, amounts and types of purchases) that we maintain about them, communications that the consumer/visitor has directed to our site (e.g., e-mails, customer inquiries).

Returns & Replacements

If your order arrives and it is not right we'll fix it, NO NONSENSE, we promise.

Doesn't fit? You can return or exchange any new, non-closeout, unused and unaltered item within 30 days of receipt.  If you need longer then 30 days let us know, typically it will not be an issue as long as it is kept within reason and you notify us ahead of time.

Customer is responsible for return shipping on original original order back to us for exchange


  • If you are exchanging merchandise and would like the new items shipped out prior to us receiving the old items it is not a problem. 
  • Your credit card will be authorized and charged for the cost of the new items, as well as a $7.50 cross ship charge. The new items will ship out immediately
  • Once we process the items you are returning, a refund back to your credit card for those items will be made
  • Used / Damaged / Blemished Merchandise

  • Any merchandise which shows signs of use cannot be returned
  • We need to be able to resell all merchandise that is returned, and for liability issues and to protect our other customers we can not resell used merchandise
  • Packaging / Tags

  • Please make sure all original packaging, tags, etc are included and intact
  • If you are missing tags, please contact us prior to return
  • Items that are returned with missing or damaged packaging, tags, or components, or hangers may be returned to the customer or subject to an additional processing fee at Filter Geek's discretion, based on the availability of those missing or damaged components
